President of the Saudi Tennis Federation, Ghodran Saeed Ghodran, crowned Canadian player Ocean Wow at the Under-14 Tennis Kingdom Open Championship, after winning the final match over Indian Arjun Collegar in two groups without a match with a result (6/2 – 6/1), who in turn won the silver medal and a sum Mali, while Hussain Al-Maraj, Saudi club player Al-Heit, won the third place award, while the other Saudi player, Qassem Al-Obeidan, won the third prize.
The coronation ceremony was attended by Secretary General of the Tennis Federation, Muhammad Al-Ajaji, Chairman of the Technical and Competitions Committee Saeed Al-Shahrani, Board Member Khaled Al-Sayyah, and Reporter of the Technical Committee Abdullah Al-Qahtani.
It is noteworthy that the Kingdom Open Tennis Championship for juniors is one of the official internal tournaments organized by the Saudi Federation, and it allows non-Saudi players to participate in contact and gain experience for the Kingdom’s players to participate in distinguished players of various nationalities, as it is one of the most important tournaments for giving birth to talent.
This version played its competitions in two stages with the participation of 42 players, the first was dedicated to the round of 32 and the round of 16, while the second phase was dedicated to the quarter-finals, semi-finals and coronation, on the stadiums of King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals.
