
Saeed Ghodran Group, one of Saudi Arabia’s leading food and beverage companies, is participating in the third edition of Saudi Food 2024, which kicked off today, Monday, May 12, under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, Eng. Bandar bin Ibrahim Al-khorayef, with extensive local and international participation representing more than 100 countries.


During the exhibition, Saeed Ghodran Group is highlighting its diverse product portfolio, which includes flavored chips, as well as high-quality rice and sugar, some of the group’s most prominent offerings to the food sector in the Kingdom and the region.

In a statement on this occasion, Mr. Ghodran, Chairman of the Group’s Board of Directors, emphasized that this participation represents an important step in the Group’s journey towards strategic expansion in local and international markets. He noted that “Saudi Food Exhibition provides an effective platform for communicating with industry partners, both current and potential customers, as well as local and international suppliers, which enhances partnership and distribution opportunities and opens new horizons for business growth.”

He added that the group’s team held a number of fruitful meetings on the first day of the exhibition, in a move aimed at expanding its distribution base both within and outside the Kingdom, as part of its plans aligned with Saudi Vision 2030 to enhance food security and localize consumer industries.

For his part, Mr. Ahmed Ghodran, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, explained that the Saudi Food Exhibition represents an ideal platform that brings together the merchant and the consumer under one roof, stressing that “the event is witnessing a remarkable presence of local and international visitors, reflecting the growing interest in Saudi food products and their ability to compete in regional and global markets.”

He pointed out that this year’s exhibition hosts more than 1,000 exhibitors from over 100 countries, offering a wide variety of flavors and food experiences that promote cultural and commercial exchange.
Khaled Ghandourah, Group CEO, described the exhibition as a “global event par excellence,” especially with 94% of exhibitors coming from outside the Kingdom, making it a strategic platform for supporting international partnerships and strengthening Saudi Arabia’s position as an attractive destination for investment in the food and beverage sector.
He emphasized that “the great openness of this event reflects the Kingdom’s drive toward building an integrated and sustainable food economy, and we are proud to be part of this ecosystem by offering competitive products that meet international standards.”
Mr. Murtadah Radhi, the group’s CFO, concluded by emphasizing that Saeed Ghodran’s participation in this exhibition comes within the framework of a clear vision for expansion and growth, adding: “We are committed to providing high-quality products with a wide variety that meet the aspirations of consumers inside and outside the Kingdom, reflecting the development of the Saudi food industry and its regional leadership.”
